Easter

I have to start the Easter post with their dresses! This year I tried to find easy and simple dresses since we are in the midst of moving. These dresses are Scott's favorite and I am really happy with how they turned out.

Addison and Caroline both love pink right now so it was perfect to find fabric that had some sparkle to it that I could get in 2 shades of pink so they would both be happy :)

We had a little Easter egg hunt for them when they woke up.  They loved it and went right to work collecting their eggs as soon as we let them in the room.  It was fun to watch.

Excited to start!

Randoms

Here are some random pictures from the last month...

Every morning I make a smoothie with spinach in it so it ends up pretty green (or brown if I have blueberries or strawberries in it) and Addison and Caroline LOVE it!  Here were are sharing our morning smoothie together :)  It is packed with fiber and protein so it is super healthy.  Let me know if you want the recipe.  I hate spinach so it is perfect for me and you really can't taste it which is proven every time Addison and Caroline have it.

At the beginning of the warm weather trend Addison and Caroline were both sick for a few days.  Here they are looking sad and sick :(

I already thought I had 2 pretty girly girls but this confirmed it.  I painted their nails for the first time and they loved it!

Just a cute one with Scott and Addison.  It would have been better with Scott's eyes open but it is still cute.

Summer Time in the Winter

The middle of March this year was fabulous! It truly was summer time in the winter since winter was technically not over yet but it was in the upper 70's/80's for about a week and a half. We spent a lot of time outside! As soon as Addison and Caroline would wake up they would start asking if they could go outside. It gave me a glimpse into what the real summer has in store for us...lots of time outside and fun!!

They love chalk

There is this great tree that is perfect for climbing in and out of in this little yard area next to our parking lot.

Even woodpecker's were out working away.  You can even see the hole he was creating.

Lunch after church at Mor mor's and Grandpa's.  Those are their Easter dresses from last year.  I am happy they still fit :)

Matt and Lucia

Lucia taking a nap outside in the cradle that my dad made for me when I was a baby.  I can't decide if I like the picture where the heart is in focus or Lucia in focus better.  Hmmm....

And apparently this is now something that happens with the new babies in our family because here is Naomi taking a nap outside (in a different cradle) when she was a newborn

It is really cute to see how Naomi interacts with Lucia.

Visiting the Johnson Family in the Hospital

Since Elsa and Lucia were in the hospital for a few days we decided to head down there with Addison and Caroline to meet their new baby cousin. I could not believe that they allowed Addison and Caroline to visit since when I had them we were not even allowed a visit from our parents because of the swine flu going around!  Even when Linnea had her kids, children under 12 who were not siblings were not allowed to visit.  We were happy with the new rules though and it was cute to see Addison and Caroline's response to the little baby.

They had fun crawling under the curtain

Good thing we were there with our Ipad because Matt's parents were able to skype and see Lucia for the first time outside of pictures.

Here she is at home
