More Honeymoon.....

We played Yahtzee every day on our terrace.

This is just a small portion of the pool which ran the length of the entire resort. There were many bridges and islands within the pool.

We were walking through the resort one day and we came across this guy who was trimming one of the coconut trees.

Here is some height perspective, he was trimming the tree in the middle of the picture. You can hardly tell that he is in the tree in this picture.

We're Back!

So we are back, Mr. and Mrs. Bailey! For those who don't know, we went to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for a week for our honeymoon. Other than our flights getting cancelled and finding that out the day of the wedding (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) everything went pretty smoothly. Don't worry, my dad (wonderful wonderful dad) rearranged everything before I even knew the flights were cancelled. We left the morning after our wedding (after 3 hours of sleep!!) and returned a week later. We had the best time I think you can have on a honeymoon. The weather was perfect (mid-80s and no rain!) and we both got some much needed rest and relaxation. It was a little hard to come back to record setting negative temperatures but we got through it.

Well this past Tuesday night I got a flat tire on the way to a wedding appointment with my mom. Afterwards, my mom and I changed the flat to the donut! It was great to see that we can change a tire and I happened to be wearing the best shoes for this, my clogs.

5 Week Update

What??!!!?? We are only 5 weeks away!!!! I can't believe it. Scott and I (well let's be honest - mostly me) keep trucking along with the wedding plans. To be fair though, I have not given Scott many tasks but when I do he gets them done very quickly so he is very helpful when I need him to be. The invitations are out and now I am moving on to making the programs, place cards and favors! Yikes, I might need more help. Here are some random pictures of my nieces from the past couple weeks.

For whatever reason the pictures are getting cut off. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know! In the mean time, I will just leave it up so that there is something new to look at.

So Leah and Annie came over on Saturday to help me with Step 2 of my invitation making. I am very thankful for their help because they saved me several hours of doing it all myself.

If any of you are big fans of the show Friends you should remember the scene where Rachel helps Monica send out her invitations. In the scene Rachel waves her glass of red wine over the invitations as a joke. Here are Leah and Annie recreating the Friends scene. They did a great job. Notice my classy wine glasses :)
