Summer Time Fun

I glanced out the window one afternoon and saw this cicada coming out of its shell.  This was the first time I had seen this happening.  YUCK!  But kind of cool to see the process.

Addison and Caroline were pretending they were sick.  They are going go have to work on their sad, not so happy, sick look.

We got this pool this summer which has actually been great any time because they love the slide whether or not there is water in the it.  Fun all year round!

I was on a big fruit smoothie kick this summer and Addison and Caroline would always have some too.  This particular one was blueberries, raspberries, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, cinnamon and spinach to top it off which is why it is brown :)  They are proof that you can't taste the spinach!

Addison is "peat" because she was born first and Caroline is "re-peat."  Ha, I love these onesies.

Rob drove  up and surprised Beth at 2am.  Then they went outside and he proposed!!!  Such a great story!!!

Afterglow 2012...Part 2

And we continue on to our night out on the town in Eagle River.  The great thing about the new place that we are going to next year is that it is also close to Eagle River so we can keep this tradition even though we will not be at Afterglow!

 

First is pizza at Alexander's Pizza.  I thought this picture was funny because Addison is licking hers and Caroline just has a finger on the corner of hers.

On to the Go-carts and bounce house.  They were very excited to get in there.  I was actually pretty surprised because they tend to be very timid with unknown things.

However, Addison got scared and did not go in and basically as soon as Caroline was inside it turned to this.

 

Next up were fireworks in Land O Lakes.  Best firework show every year!

We spent our time before they started by messing around with my camera settings and waving around glow sticks.

It takes an hour or so to get out of the airport once the show is over so we decided to sit tight and hang out until we did not have to wait in traffic.  Kristin and Chris put on a show to entertain us.

And then it was the brothers turn.  They are always entertaining.
