A trip to the zoo

I took advantage of one of our warm days in March and took Addison and Caroline to the zoo. They loved it and a month later they are still talking about seeing all the animals at the zoo. It was one of those perfect days where the temperature was just right, not many people were there, Addison and Caroline were both happy the whole time and the animals were pretty active. One of the best zoo days we have ever had!  I love how much Addison and Caroline love animals!

It took me a while to get Caroline to pet the chick mainly because it was being held by someone she doesn't know.

Future piano players?

Addison and Caroline love to play the piano any time we are at my parents house. They love to sing lots of different songs while they accompany themselves.  It is always fun to hear them and they really looked like they were putting on a concert with these outfits on.

The last snow fall

At the end of February we had our second and last major snowfall (knock on wood). This winter was perfect in regards to snow. We had one big one that was great for sledding and one big one that was great for building a snowman. I say lets call it a day!

I have never seen flakes so huge!  I tried to capture it but the picture does not do it justice.

Addison and Caroline were occupied for a long time with adding snow to this big snowball.

While they were busy adding snow to their snowball we were busy building a snowman as big as we could!  It was over 6 feet when we were done!!
